Wonder Works Brings the Fun to Galewood Farmers Market
Kids can get their faces painted by Wonder Works Children’s Museum staff, 9 – 11:30 AM, or play mini-basketball and soccer at the Galewood-North Avenue Farmers Market this Sunday, August 17th.
While the kids play, adults can work out with personal trainer John Hayley at 9 AM ($20; bring an exercise mat or just come to watch for free), stock up on locally-grown fruits and vegetables, French bakery items and artisanal cheese from Wisconsin, or just relax with a cup of organic coffee. The whole family can enjoy homemade Mexican specialties, gourmet cupcakes and foot-long hotdogs. Come to shop. Stay for lunch.
The market is open 9 AM – 2 PM in the parking lot just east of US Bank at 6700 W. North Avenue in Chicago.
