Farmers Market, this Sunday, July 6
Work up an appetite or just savor treats at Galewood-North Avenue Farmers Market
This coming Sunday, John Haley will be offering group exercise at 9 AM. Come watch him put folks through their paces, or bring a mat and $20 to participate. Either way, work up an appetite for delectable sweet or savory items from two French bakeries (check out those croissants and tarts!), gourmet (fair trade/organic) coffee drinks from Mojo Express, and artisanal, locally-produced cheese (don’t miss the Bouchon and horseradish-chive cheeses). Stock up on delicious, farm-fresh, locally-grown fruit and vegetables, including the season’s first black raspberries. Ms. Rosa’s Kitchen will be back at 11:30 AM serving amazing flautas, tamales and snow cones, too. Come to shop. Stay for lunch. In the parking lot just east of US Bank, 6700 West North Avenue.
