A new federal regulation has finally opened the airwaves to non-profit small-scale community radio broadcasting. If any of our readers have approximately $10,000 sitting around for licensing and equipment (a pittance compared to commercial radio!), Neal and I would be more than happy to re-enact Christian Slater’s finest moment.

In the meantime, Triton College’s WRRG 88.9 FM will have to do, it’s actually a pretty great station, with a wide variety of music, local info, and a great Saturday afternoon oldies show.
