Concordia to Celebrate 100 Years in River Forest
Concordia University is celebrating 100 years in River Forest this Saturday. There will be a variety of family entertainment beginning at 10 a.m. including face painting, magic shows, storytelling, a bounce house, kids games, historical reenactments, food & drinks and more. There will be a Pops concert with the University Band at 1 p.m. (don’t forget to bring your own chair). The event is free and open to everyone. The Concordia campus is located at 7400 Augusta Street. Free handicapped-accessible parking is available in the visitors’ lot north of the University parking structure off Bonnie Brae Street.
