Galewood Gazette, Spring 2011

Spring 2011 Galewood Gazette Even if Spring weather isn’t quite with us yet, the Spring 2011 Galewood Gazette is appearing in email inboxes across the neighborhood, and as always, we’re happy to post it here on Galewood.net.

The big news in the neighborhood is obviously the runoff Alderman election between Nick Sposato and John Rice, the Gazette talks to both about their thoughts on the election and their plans for the runoff. Also in this issue, the Gazette continues Mark Farina’s great “Reminiscing” story, profiles local gardener Joe Capobianco, and covers local events and groups such as GRO, the Library, Sayre School, Earth Day Clean-Up, the Garden Club and much more.

If you wish to receive the Gazette in your inbox, email The Galewood Gazette staff. (Note, Galewood.net does not publish the Gazette, but we keep all the issues posted on our “Gazette” page with their permission.)
